Caleta de Fuste, Fuerteventura

You are here: Fuerteventura > Information Pages > Towns & Villages > Caleta de Fuste

The resort of Caleta de Fuste has grown up over the last ten years, with a man-made horse shoe beach that is safe for families.

There was almost nothing here before tourism came to call, with only the small 18th century fortress that can still be seen today. Now there are a large variety of hotels and holiday accommodation, bars and restaurants, shops and many things to do.

The marina is particularly pretty with a number of harbour front restaurants making wonderful places to sit and while away the time. Just outside of the resort, there is now the islands first 18-hole golf course, with a 5 star hotel with its associated facilities.

There is also a new shopping centre with a multi-screen cinema and an excellent selection of bars and restaurants with stunning views. Unfortunately the films are only shown in Spanish, but as the resident population of English speakers increases there may soon be the availability of brand new releases in their original languages.
